Under 8's - 15 tries for Grinhaff!

There was some fantastic Rugby from both teams.

Alfie Watson picked up the 100% effort award for some fantastic footwork that resulted in him finishing the game with 6 tries. He also contributed well to his team with 15 tackles.

Jack Pickles excelled in his defence to pick up the top tackler award. He finished the game with 27 tackles and also produced on the attacking side with 9 tries. He also led his team well with a very organised display from acting half back.

In a very tough game there was also a fantastic performance from Sam Whiteley. His strong running and sudden speed caused problems all morning as he danced through Sheffield's defence. He scored a sensational full length try that resulted in him collecting the magic moment award.

The next award went to Billy West who was a constant threat to the Hillsborough defence. He finished the game with 4 tries but every time he ran at the defence he also made gaps for the next runner. This duly earned him the most improved player award.

After another very strong display in both attack and defence Harrison Stevens collected the opposition Man of the match award. He completed the game with a very impressive 21 tackles and 6 tries but it was his expansive running that really delivered for his team.

The first man of the match award went to Harley Aston. His fantastic support play and strong running caused problems all morning. He finished the game with 25 tackles. That would have been good enough to collect an award in most games but he also managed to score 8 tries.

The second Man of the match went to the always hard working Archie Walker. He never shyed away from a single run or tackle and was justly rewarded with 25 tackles and 6 tries to conclude a fantastic display from
the Victoria under 8's.

There was also 15 tries Max Grinhaff, 6 tries from Harley Trapps, 9 tries from Jack Kirkaldy and finally 2 tries from Charlie Orr.
