both teams gave a great performance of skill and determination in very bad weather, but the rain and wind didn’t stop Birstall U8’s giving all there had, Harry Avis was given the opposition man of the match for his great runs and good defense, also some good running and strong defense from Jonny Philips, Jack mysak, Kaden Ramsdon and Marco Lamberton. Jamie Richardson had a good game with both attacks and defense earning him the magic moment for his side stepping also getting parent’s player of the match, Kerry Annan took on the role of acting half and was awarded 100% effort, Mckenzie Jefferson was awarded most improved. Dylan Rhodes was back on form with both defense and attack earning him the player of the match. Cameron Stevens was back to his best with outstanding defense and good runs gaining him the top tackler award second week running.
