Birstall u8's team had a very good match on sunday away at Heworth,

with Mya Tayler Kerry Annan and Cory Quince all running well, Marko Lambton, Bradley Render and Dylan Rhodes also had great attacks and defence. Jamie Richardson had some good runs for his debut match. Jack Mysak and Mckenzi Jefferson ran well in attack and defence giving the most improved player. Cameron Stevens had a good game earning him the top tackler for his great defence and attack. Oliver Sugden was given the parents player for his great attack also getting magic moment for the his try saving tackle, Harry Avis had an excellent match attacks and defence, for all his hard work he was given the man of the match, Harry also was given opposition man of the match. All round good team effort.
