Kayte Lane is set to host FA Cup action once again this weekend, with Poole Town making the 100+ mile trip to take on Bishops Cleeve on Saturday.

Poole play in the Southern League Premier Division South, a tier above Cleeve. Last season they finished 4th, but lost in the play-off semi-finals to Gloucester City, who themselves lost in the final to Farnham Town.
Their last game came last weekend, where they fell to defeat to Plymouth Parkway in a 2-0 loss. Two days earlier, however, they beat Yate Town 2-1, with Ezio Touray and Ik Hill being the goalscorers.
So far this season, Hill is the Dolphins’ top goalscorer with three. The winger scored seven last campaign, joint-second with Dan Carr behind Shaquille Gwengwe, who scored a more-than-impressive 47 in all competitions.
Gwengwe moved on during the summer transfer window, making the big jump up to Newport County in League Two, where he already has four goals in four league games. His departure means Paul Collicutt’s side have one less problem to worry about, but Hill and Touray definitely both have goals in them.
Cleeve’s last two outings were both against Bristol Manor Farm, who they faced in the FA Trophy last Saturday and in the league on Monday.
Despite a 3-1 defeat in the first game, the Mitres bounced back impressively on bank holiday Monday, where goals from Aaron Evans-Harriott, Ben McLean and Charlie Holliday, as well as an own goal, secured a 4-1 win.
Kick-off on Saturday is at 3pm, with a place in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup up for grabs.
