The visitors had the first effort when Archie Ferris lashed in a shot only for it to be well blocked by Josh Nelmes.
Toby Holland then saw his curling shot for the Mitres easily saved by the Larkhall ‘keeper Arthur Nasta
Shortly afterwards the visitors thought they should have had a penalty but a freekick was awarded on the edge of the box instead which came to nothing.
Larkhall’s best opportunities of the game came just before the half hour mark when Ferris saw his looping header beat Lewis Clayton in the goal, come off the crossbar and fall to Max Williams who saw his shot well saved by the legs of Clayton.
Larkhall did have the ball in the net just before half time through Williams but it was ruled out for handball.
Cleeve came out playing a lot better in the second half although Ferris did glance a header just wide for the visitors.
Then on the hour mark the Mitres took the lead through Jay Malshanskyj who fired in from Will Emery’s pass.
There was then a mad final ten minutes in which the hosts scored three further goals.
First, Toby Holland converted from the spot after Malshanskyj was clipped by Jack Goodall in the area.
Malshanskyj then turned provider as his chipped cross was headed in by Ross Langworthy before Nelmes headed in from a Holland corner to complete the rout.
Cleeve’s next match is at home to Melksham on Saturday 13th January
