Bishops Cleeve are back at Kayte Lane this weekend, as they’re in league action taking on Tavistock.
Cleeve was victorious in the FA Cup with a 4-0 win against minor league opposition in Hallen A.F.C. They will take on Wimborne Town in the next round of the prestigious tournament.
The Mitres have also won their last two league games, with a 1-0 opening-day victory against Larkhall Athletic, which saw Curtis Jemmett-Hutson on target, and a 10-goal thriller in Didcot for a 7-3 victory.
Tavistock have won one and lost one in the first two league games of the season, as they look to improve on last season's form. The Lambs finished 16th last season but have started off the campaign in ok form with an opening-day win over Falmouth, but the following Tuesday saw a 3-0 defeat to Frome.
They were successful in FA Cup action last weekend, as they put out Barnstaple Town for the opportunity to take on Swindon Supermarine in the next round.
They will be hoping to keep their winning form in the league with a tough test to come against the Mitres.
Last season saw Cleeve win both of their fixtures over the Lambs with a 3-0 win at Kayte Lane and a 1-0 away win. Hopefully a repeat of the latter result is on the cards this Saturday.
