Bishops Cleeve are back in league action this week, as they will take a trip down to Hampshire, where they will face Bashley.
Cleeve are coming off a giant killing, as they defeated Sholing 2-1 to advance to the first round of the FA Trophy for the first time in the Mitres' history.
Paul Collicut’s men will take on Farnham Town on the 25th of October in the next round of the competition, as they look to make even more history.
Meanwhile, the Mitres are doing well in the league, occupying second place with a game in hand over current leaders Winchester City.
The Opposition
Bashley are currently in a mid-table position, having played eight times, winning three, drawing two, and losing three.
The Bash have yet to have won at home this season, as they have only been able to draw once. But they’ve also lost three games in their home games this season.
Cleeve and Bashley played each other last, with the Mitres winning both games. A 1-0 win away and a 3-0 home win saw Paul Collicut’s men take all six points in their two games against each other last year.
