It's a quick turnaround for Bishops Cleeve, as they return to Kayte Lane to take on Swindon Supermarine.
The Mitres were the victors on Saturday, defeating Bashley 1-0 thanks to Ross Langworthy’s first-half strike.
The goal from Cleeve's top goalscorer put them at the top of the table with two games in hand over second-place Malvern Town, who the Mitre beat 2-1 two weeks ago thanks to Jay Malshanskyj's last-minute lob.
Paul Collicut’s men now see themselves equal with their most successful league position in their 120-year history, and they will be hoping to keep it going as they head into Tuesday night.
The opposition
After their relegation last season, the Marine had a big turnaround this summer, as they appointed former Hemel Hempstead boss Bobby Wilkinson as their new manager.
The new gaffer has had some recent success seeing Supermarine in a midtable position; recent fixtures against Malvern and Winchester saw them pick up losses, but they were back to winning ways last weekend, defeating Bristol Manor Farm 3-1 on home soil.
The Marine and Cleeve have had some recent history, with Toby Holland being a part of the setup in Wiltshire until a long-term injury sidelined him for the season.
Cleeve and Supermarine haven’t played each other competitively since 2018, with the visitors coming away with a staggering 5-0 victory over the Mitres.
In their last five against each other, Cleeve have come out on top once, with the Wiltshire-based side coming out on top four times. The Mitres' win was a 4-2 away victory back in 2017.
