Bishops Cleeve are hoping to improve on their performance against Exmouth as they take on Larkhall Athletic.

The Mitres were on form last weekend, taking all three points thanks to a Matt Liddiard header and an overall stellar defensive performance.

The win put Cleeve in the playoff spots, where they will be hoping to stay with a win over their opposition this Saturday.

Paul Collicut’s men find themselves only six points away from league leaders Frome, with two games in hand on the team atop.

The Mitres have already played Larkhall this season, with a 1-0 win through a late Curtis Jemmett-Hutson winner that sent Kayte Lane ablaze.

The home side find themselves in a comfortable mid-table spot, being in tenth place.

Recent form hasn’t been the best for the Larks, as they find themselves only winning once in their last five, with a win against Bashley being their only three points.

It’s been a tough schedule, however, with Malvern, Portishead and Winchester all taking wins away from Ollie Price’s side.

It’s not all bad for the Bath-based side, however, with a lot of improvement being seen from last season’s 18th-place finish. The Larks will be hoping they can hold on and secure a nice spot in the middle.

In recent times, Cleeve have been a real bogey team to Larkhall, with Paul Collicut’s men not losing to them since 2022.

Will Larkhall finally break a three-year streak of losses against the Mitres, or can Cleeve make it six wins in a row?
