Bishops Cleeve will be hoping for a less dramatic encounter this weekend, as Willand Rovers are the visitors at Kayte Lane.
Last weekend saw an incredibly dramatic 4-4 draw at Larkhall, where the Mitres came back from 2-0 down and then scored two near the end to make it 4-3 until Larkhall went straight back up the other way and secured a very late equaliser for a point apiece on the day.
The result leaves Paul Collicutt’s men in sixth, just outside of the playoff spots, but Cleeve still have two games in hand on most of the league and are one point off fifth-place Winchester.
Veteran midfielder Steve Davis said on the action last weekend, "A great game for the neutral, but we've got to learn from the mistakes."
All eyes will be on Willand this weekend, who Cleeve have already contested this season in the FA Trophy, as the Mitres had to battle on penalties, which they came out the victors of with a 5-4 win.
The Devon All-Whites currently find themselves in the middle of the relegation scrap in 20th, as they sit four points above Melksham Town.
Rovers haven’t won a game since late October, which came in a 3-2 victory over Hartpury; since then, the visitors have only managed three points out of a possible 24.
Willand and Cleeve have an interesting history against each other, with the Mitres being unable to beat them last season in both clashes, with a 0-0 draw at Kayte Lane and a 2-1 win for Rovers on home soil.
But Paul Collicutt’s men will be hoping that the FA Trophy win from September can put some fear into the visitors.
