Bishops Cleeve are hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend, as they take on third-place Portishead Town.
The two sides played each other back in November, with Portishead handing Cleeve their first defeat this season with a 5-0 trouncing. Collicutt said we will “wait and see” if his side have learned their lesson.
“It was probably our worst performance of the season; from the time we turned up, it was a disaster. It's a big game for us and a big game for them, but we’re looking forward to it, and hopefully it will be a good game."
The Mitres travelled to Bristol Manor Farm last weekend after successive wins against Winchester City and Cheltenham Town reserves, with the latter seeing Cleeve put themselves in the GFA Senior Challenge Cup final against either Forest Green Rovers or Yate Town.
Noah Rubio impressed again for Colly’s men on Saturday with a curling freekick into the top right corner in the first half, before Manor Farm got a second-half equaliser to leave Cleeve in sixth after Shaftesbury’s 3-0 win over Sporting Club Inkberrow.
Speaking on the winger's impact, Collicutt was happy to see the youngster make the best of his start with the Mitres.
“He’s settled in, and he’s playing football with a smile on his face. Noah is a very committed lad, and he’s started in good fashion. He offers us something different from what we’ve already got, but he wants to be a threat in games for us.”
This will be the first time Possett have travelled to Cleeve, and a win for the Mitres could take them back into the playoff spots.
