Cleeve have been successful in their last two fixtures against relegation zone sides Tavistock and Brixham. A 3-0 win over the Lambs and a 2-1 win over the Fishermen have put Paul Collicutt’s men back into the play-off spots.
It’s a tight table with eight games to go for the Mitres, as Shaftesbury sit behind Cleeve a point away, but Colly’s men still have a game in hand over the Rockies. Cleeve are also two points away from Winchester in fourth as the Mitres look to cement their spot in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the visitors make the long trip from Cornwall to take on Cleeve, with the Seagulls in 16th place but level on points in what is a very tight relegation battle in the league.
The southernmost side in the league had a successful season last year, finishing sixth, just outside the playoff spots, two points away from fifth-placed Exmouth.
The two sides have played each other five times in their history, with Cleeve coming out on top three times and Mousehole winning only twice. Last time out, there was a 1-0 win for the Mitres in Cornwall, with Toby Holland scoring the winning goal.
The fixture falls on Non-League Day, where fans will get the opportunity to pay what they like at the door to watch the fixture.
