It’s the penultimate league game of the season for Bishops Cleeve, as the Mitres will travel down to Cornwall this weekend to take on Falmouth Town.
Cleeve have it all to do, with the Mitres sitting outside of the playoff spots in sixth after a 3-0 defeat to Swindon Supermarine on Monday night.
Shaftesbury took their game in hand by the scruff of the neck, defeating already relegated Tavistock 3-1 to put themselves ahead of Cleeve in fifth ahead on goal difference by seven goals.
The race continues to be thrilling with Winchester City, the Rockies and Cleeve all fighting it out for the coveted spots.
The Mitres' recent form has seen a mixture with two wins, two draws and Monday's loss.
Meanwhile for Falmouth, the Town see themselves with a game in hand, four points above the relegation zone, with Willand above them on the edge of the zone, while Melksham and Brixham are currently occupying the final two relegation spots.
The two sides only played their first game this season against each other recently with a thrilling 3-3 draw with a Harry Williams brace and a 92nd-minute own goal from Falmouth securing a point for Cleeve.
The two sides have played each other three times in recent years, with Cleeve coming out on top twice last season before the draw at Kayte Lane two weeks ago.
