After a weekend off, Bishops Cleeve FC return to action on Tuesday night as they take on Hartpury at Kayte Lane.
The Mitres’ last game came on Wednesday, where a successful trip to Slimbridge in the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup saw Paul Collicutt’s side come away with a 3-2 win.
All five of the game’s goals came in the first half, with Cleeve’s coming courtesy of a Shiyak Sutherland brace and one from the returning Ross Langworthy, bringing his tally in green and white up to a whopping 98.
Tuesday night will see them return to league action, with their last Division One South game coming on the 15th against Inkberrow.
Their trip to Worcestershire was another away success, and a win that made it two 4-0 away wins in a row.
Between Inkberrow and Slimbridge, however, they were knocked out of the FA Cup by league-below Tadley Calleva at Kayte Lane, with a fine defensive display being enough for the visitors to hold onto their 1-0 advantage.
As of Saturday morning, Tuesday night’s opponents are unbeaten in their last three games, with wins over Melksham and Willand Rovers and a draw with Worcester Raiders surely putting them in good spirits ahead of their next two outings.
Morgan Ewing is Hartpury’s top goalscorer in the league so far this campaign, with the former-England Schoolboys forward on four at the time of writing.
Kick-off on Tuesday is at 7:45pm.
