Grove Cottage provides social and educational activities for people of all ages with learning disability: to develop their potential, avoid social isolation by supporting lifelong friendships and to provide respite for their families.

BSCC is looking forward to supporting Grove Cottage with fundraising activities throughout the season and promoting their work in the local community.

This initiative ties in with BSCC's commitment to provide and promote cricket for people with learning and physical disabilities. Our new cricket section called 'Stortford Cricket' comes with the support of Hertfordshire Cricket and will work closely with a number of organisations such as Special Olympics East Herts, Hertfordshire Disabled Cricket Association, Grove Cottage, Bishops House, Birchwood School and Essex Cricket.

Stortford Cricket will be running a number of initiatives to support people with disabilities to actively play the sport we all enjoy.
