Bishop Sutton under 18s kicked off their season after a 3 year absence in the floodlit league with a tough away fixture at Paulton Rovers FC.
After a nervous opening 15 minutes Sutton began to get into the game and opened the scoring, after a free kick delivered by Freddie Gwyther to the back post was headed into the back of the net by Matt Robertson.
Tensions ran high after a bad tackle on Harry Morgan on 38 minutes, which led to a Sutton coach being sent to the stands late in the first half which ended an eventful first half.

Paulton Rovers came out fired up for the second half and equalised soon after the break, with a good bit of play down the left hand side, a low driven cross was side footed home by the Paulton forward.
Soon after the equaliser Paulton took the lead after some good link up play through midfield Paulton Rovers 2 - 1 Bishop Sutton.
Sutton came fighting back, Alex Banfield scoring with a 30 yard wonder strike to level the scores at 2 - 2 .
Both team were going all out for the win and it was Bishopn Sutton that grabbed what proved to be the winner through Harry Billiteri after great defensive work and a good counter attack Billiteri took advantage of a cross from Sam Nye on the left and smashed the ball home from close range.
Paulton Rovers were awarded a penalty soon after an ariel challenge by Ben Allen, Callum Witts was sin binned for 10 minutes for his protest.
Sutton GK Billy Taylor pulled off a wonderful save to keep Sutton in the lead for what proved to be a the match winning save.
Paulton Rovers pushed for a late equaliser but Bishop Sutton stood strong to take the win a hard fought win.
