Both teams started brightly with little to choose between them, the nearest to a score was a Downes shot on 5 minutes that came back off the left post.

Wincanton opened the scoring on 60 minutes, a cross from the right to the far post found a forward whose header beat Thomas at the post.
5 minutes later Rawlings was put through on goal but shot wide of the left post.
On 70 minutes Thomas brought off a good save diving to his right.
A minute later Daggar shot to the right of the right post.
Sutton equalised in the 80th minute, Josh Keen took a free kick from just outside of the box and found the top left corner of the net.
The first sub was made a minute later, Rawlings being replaced by Ben Alexander.
Sutton were now pressing forward and two minutes later Josh Keen fired over the bar.
The second sub was made in the 83rd minute, Josh Keen being replaced by Jem Douglas.
Sutton’s winner came 2 minutes from time, Downes collected the ball on the left, made ground and lobbed the keeper from 18 metres.
