Bishop Sutton kick off the New Year with a tough looking home fixture against Oldland Abbotonians on Saturday January 4th.
The O's arrive at Lakeview having produced one of their most impressive results of the season in beating Longwell Green 2-1 last Saturday at Shellards Road. The three points confirmed ninth spot for Clayton Woodman's side but such is the congestion of the mid-table pack of clubs, Oldland could be placed anywhere between sixth and twelfth after tomorrow's game. Prior to that excellent result at Longwell, Oldland's last six games had produced two wins, two draws and two defeats
The hosts will be keen not to let the gap grow between the bottom two and 18th placed Devizes. Bristol Telephones' victory over Hengrove lifted them to eight points, the same as Sutton but behind them on goal difference only. Devizes are home to 16th placed Almondsbury while Hengrove entertain Cheddar, so Sutton will be hoping to take something from the game tomorrow.
Kick off is at the usual time of 3.00pm. See you there!
