Radstock Town gave their new management team a flying start as they travelled to Lakeview and came awy with a 5-0 victory.

A gloomy afternoon at Lakeview sees Sutton welcome the Miners which became gloomier for Sutton as the game progressed. Sutton forced to make changes to the team due to injuries and suspensions bringing in James Sellick in defence and Luke Trowbridge in midfield. Sam Downes moves into back 4 from his usual role in midfield.

15.03 game kicks off with Sutton playing down and just two minutes later are a goal down. A corner taken by Morgan Skipp from Radstock's right is headed in by Sam Gregory playing with number 20 on his shirt. The game is being played at a fast pace with numerous hard tackles on both sides but Radstock’s Tom Pawley picks up 1st yellow for poor tackle in midfield. Sutton have good chance when Callum Baker steals ball and puts Liam Crispin through with just keeper to beat but he saves well.

Game is moving from end to end with shots off target from both sides. Then 35 minutes in, Pele Sobers passes from the left to James Rustell to score Radstock’s 2nd .

Three minutes later Sam Gregory shoots just over from a free kick on edge of Sutton’s 18 yard line. Bishop Sutton making opposition give away fouls. Four minutes before half-time Radstock’s Mason Harrison shown yellow and then Callum Taylor is given same for pulling Oaklan Buck down just outside their penalty area. Ross Beazer takes free kick which is well saved by Jack Scrivens in Radstock’s goal.

15.50 it’s half time and Sutton are 2 down.

Kick off is 10 minutes later and Radstock win a free kick on their left which Omar Simpson hits just over Suttons bar.

50 mins - Oaklan Buck is given straight red for a tackle that was deemed reckless by referee. Sutton playing with 10 men are still a threat as Callum Baker is always looking to attack. His good work gives Liam Crispin a chance to shoot but again saved. Sutton make a change 18 minutes into 2nd half. Sol Shearer replaces Ross Beazer who hands captain's role to Sam Downes.

Within a minute Sutton make Radstock’s goalkeeper make 2 saves first from Baker and then from Shearer.

65 mins - Radstock have a corner which is cleared to outside box but a speculative shot from Omar Simpson scores low down to Seth Locke's left.

It’s all Radstock from restart beating Suttons defence while they are asking for linesman to call offside. Sutton's Sam Downes tries to clear in front of goal but hits Rico Sobers, who had replaced Tom Pawley to score Radstock's fourth 75 minutes into match.

76 mins - Sutton make 2nd change taking off Ben Snell and bringing on Lewis Dixon.

Sutton are not giving up and Baker wins free kick just outside Radstock's box which Downes forces great save low down to Scrivens right. Radstock then make it 5 from another long range shot, this time by Morgan Skipp.

Radstock almost make it six from a free kick 19 yards out that Seth Locke has to tip over bar.

16.47 referee calls time on a disappointing afternoon for Suttons players and supporters.
