The 1st XV played their last game of 2025 at home, welcoming Bowden to Ramsgreve drive. The club was full of festive cheer with sold out hospitality and a good number of faithful supporters!

The away leg was closely contested with Bowden the victors 18-17. Blackburn were looking to switch that result around and put in a solid performance for 80 minutes.

Blackburn were ahead at half time and maintained that lead all the way to the final whistle managing to claim another 5 league points and 4 wins from the last 4 games!

The scores came from all areas of the pitch with a driving maul, 1st phase try from our own half, multi phase handling between backs and forwards and Owen Pye adding a spectacular finish to a well worked play.

A fantastic way to finish 2026 and something to look forward to for the remaining part of the season.
