It’s been a long wait!

Week 4 of the 2020 6 Nations is finally complete! We saw wins for England and Scotland back in March and just had a little delay for Ireland to put Italy to the sword yesterday!

I normally start my reports with building up to the weekly winner and go through the also rans first, however we are in strange times and during strange times, strange things happen. And I want to apologies for getting a little political, but Donald Trump has referred to Covid, as the ‘Chinese Virus’ or ‘China Virus’ and believes that China deliberately spread the virus for their own gain. I believe now that I can categorically prove this is incorrect. I can exclusively reveal that Covid, is actually the ‘Scarborough Virus’ and spread by our very own predictor, Jack Scarborough for his own gain. Let’s look at the facts, pre-Covid or ‘Scarborough Virus’, Jack Scarborough, was bottom in all 3 weeks of our prediction league, including 2 weeks in which he scored over 100 points, yet now, after the impact of the ‘Scarborough Virus’, he miraculously wins week 4 of our prediction league with an impressive 20 points, I rest my case! Now for the also rans, oh sorry, I mean the other notable performers! Olivia Thomasson nearly foiled the ‘Scarborough Virus’, but a couple of late tries added too many points to her tally. Elsewhere Jess, was top of all the Newman’s. While the dominate name in the top 10 was Rawson, with 3 in the top 10, with Avril being the best placed, with an impressive third place. At the other end of the table Jack Scarborough’s usual spot was taken by Liam Knight who amassed a sizeable 98 points.

In the overall standings, Jack Scarborough’s, dastardly plan hasn’t helped him off the bottom of the pile, but he has certainly closed the gap with those above. The bottom 6 are all 3rd team players, so they can have their own mini league to see who can avoid the dreaded wooden spoon! At the top, Susan Scott, still remains in pole position, but all can change in the final week!
