Scotland had their first win in Wales since 2002, a resurgent France ended Ireland’s title hopes, with England winning the championship after pulling away from a sparky Italy.

In our prediction league there was Déjà vu from last week, as Liam Knight was again propping up the rest, while my ‘Scarborough Virus’ theory was re-enforced as Jack Scarborough was top of the pile again, well done Jack!

In the overall standings Jack Scarborough’s 2 week winning streak has seen him creep off the bottom of the final table, not surprisingly, after his last 2 weeks, it is Liam Knight who takes this year’s wooden spoon.

Looking round at some rivalries in the league, within the extended Newman family, Alastair and Dave Newman share the bragging rights. Andrew Large secured a top 5 finish ahead of his teammates. The dominant family name in the top 10 was Rawson, with Jessica 9th, Chris 7th and Avril 2nd.

Now looking at those challenging for the overall win, including Avril Rawson, we have 4 ladies in the top 4 spots, with Olivia Thomasson 4th, Natasha Clancy 3rd and a little embarrassingly our overall winner, Susan Scott, well done mum! Susan has led since week 2 and another solid final week score saw her comfortably hold on to her lead and finish with a score of 182. The score of 182 is actually the best final score since our prediction league started in 2013, so a well-deserved win!
