Cameron joins us from local side Fylde RUFC. His talent and ability was first noticed a couple of seasons ago when he gave an impressive performance whilst featuring against Blackburn in a pre-season fixture. Cameron is a 6ft 2”, 110kg back row who enjoys both the open space being able to utilise his pace and size, as well as the dark arts and unnoticed work that any back row worth his salt shows in and around the contact area.
Cameron is a proud Lancastrian and local lad to the Northwest coast attending AKS, representing Lancashire U20s. The McIntyre family name will be familiar to those in the rugby know as his uncle was a mainstay of the Fylde front row for many years!
Cameron was introduced to me by a mutual friend, and I am glad he is coming to play some rugby at Ramsgreave Drive.
