Janeil is another talented South African plying his trade at Blackburn this year. He started his rugby journey at Paarl Gimnasium where his excellent performances were rewarded with selection of South African Schools U18s. He spent 2 years in the Golden Lions system progressing into senior rugby via the U21 Currie Cup. He competed in the Super league A for Durbanville-Bellville Rugby Club.
An exciting and lightening quick runner comfortable across the outside backs he is looking forward to a new rugby challenge in a different hemisphere. I’m sure he will be welcomed with open arms from the Blackburn faithful. I have spoken to him on a number of occasions over the phone and he seems like a great lad. I cant wait to see him out on the training pitch.
