Blackburn Colts beat Oldham to gain a place in the Semi Final of the League Cup

An under-strength Burn Junior Colts beat Oldham 17 5 away from home yesterday. Our reward is a semi final away against New Brighton on 28th March.

In an excellent team performance the Burn pack dominated their opponents and tries were scored by Sam Higson, Jack Swindlehurst and the returning Eddie Sanderson. Once again the mean Burn defence yielded little and it was a comfortable result in the end.

Credit also to the Burn backs who put together some excellent running rugby in difficult conditions.
