With the 1s taking a deserved break from league it was up to the 2s and 3s to carry the flag for the club. They did not disappoint and both teams are well placed to gain promotion this season.

The 2s were set 185 to win at home to Gravesend CC. Tejpal Birdi took 3/20 in 10 overs and other wickets were spread around. In reply all of the batsmen contributed to a 6 wicket win with Rhys Saunders top-scoring with 42.

The 3s also had a successful chase, bettering Cowdrey CC's 151 all out by 6 wickets. Ishkaar Ujoodia fell just short of the victory target for an excellent 64. The 3s are tied with Catford and Cyphers CC at the top of the Division III (2nd) table.

The 4s ran out winners at Sidcup CC, taking a break from league action to regain some confidence before the league run-in. Details are not on playcricket. The 5s had a very pleasant afternoon spent with Streatham and Marlbrough CC. A very enjoyable match shows us that friendly cricket can still thrive. Dan Cattermole made 63* in the win but, more importantly, all the players had a good run out in a win.

On Sunday we lost to Bexley CC in the U21 league. Rhys Saunders was last man out for 48 in our 81 all out, which Bexley CC had little trouble negotiating.
