The poor forecast for Saturday failed to materialise and we were are able to complete all 6 league fixtures, winning 3.
The 1s played Bexley CC who were looking to avenge an early season defeat. Bexley elected to bat on a good surface which they put to use in scoring 288/4. 41 from Jack Hersh and 52 from Dipayan Paul put us in the hunt but in the end we had to settle for a third batting point from reaching 200.
The 2s made it a perfect 10 with a win at Folkestone CC. Set 209 to win, the 2s lost early wickets. Mitu Ahmed held firm for another 50 but George Howlett (72*) and Rahi Karim (39*) combined to seal the points in a 6 wicket win.
The 3s won a nail biter versus Bexley CC at the Academy. Divwakar Missra took 4/30 as Bexley CC set us 221 to win. Alex Price (61) and Dan Rouse (41) set them on their way but it took lower order runs to win with 2 balls and 1 wicket to spare.
The 4s lost at Dartfordians CC. They lost skipper Peter Deal to the pingdemic hence they were missing valuable runs. The hosts made 180/4 and Tony Pope's men were an honourable 37 runs short.
The 5s claimed another win and look well placed in the promotion race. Stuart Shanks anchored the innings for 41 runs, chasing 107, as the 5s ran out eight wicket winners.
The 6s met a very strong Chislehurst & West Kent side and came out second best. Put into bat the 6s mustered 112 all out on a good track. C&WK wasted no time in getting the runs despite 2 wickets in the first over from James Morrison.
