Blackpool Sea Eagles are delighted to announce that four of its players, Karl Davies, Chris Lane, Phil Mitchell and Tom Rowley, have been selected in the North West representative squad which will be taking part in the Regional Championships this Monday (30th May).

The North West squad will join teams representing Yorkshire, Midlands, North East, London & South East, East Anglia and South West at Derby’s Haslams Lane ground for the 2011 Regional Championships, which doubles up as a selection day for the England Lionhearts.

The North West side will be looking to go one better then they did in 2010, when they finished as runners up to the Midlands. The event takes place at Derby RFC, Haslams Lane, Derby, DE22 1EB, kicking off at 12pm and running till approximately 4pm.

Everyone at Blackpool would like to congratulate Karl, Tom, Phil and Chris on their selection and wish them (and the North West) all the best for the championships.
