Bletchley 2XV Play in the East Mids Merit table league and work in lots of local friendlies. Training is Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7pm - 8:30pm at Bletchley Rugby Club, MK2 2HX with our team of quality coaches.

Dave Ellis | Head Coach
Dave Ellis joins us from Kenilworth RUFC where he was Head Coach for the last 2yrs helping them gain promotion to Midlands 1 West (South) (level 6) as Champions and winning both the Midlands and National RFU Intermediate Cups in 2018/19.
Dave has a hugely impressive portfolio and is a highlighted respected coach throughout the world. His coaching credentials speak for themselves;

2000-2011 – French National Defence Coach – winning 5 Six nations championships and a RWC runners up medal
2012-2014 – Tonga National Asst/Defence Coach
2005 All Blacks Defence Coach – Series win vs British & Irish Lions

Dave has also worked in the French Top 14 and English Premiership with the likes of Racing Club, Bordeaux-Begles, Gloucester, Brive, Castres and London Irish.

Assistant Coach | Anthony Fenner
Anthony “Tony” Fenner is a local to Bletchley and to the club, having started his career as a Bletchley RUFC as a Mini and Junior player a few years ago! He is now one on Coventry RUFC’s most influential and versatile players, playing professionally in the GK IPA English Championship since joining them in 2016.
During his playing career Tony has also had stints playing in Italy, France, New Zealand and South Africa as well as a spell with Edinburgh.
Tony is still very much a key player in the Coventry RUFC squad having signed a new contract with the Championship side until 2021/22 and he will be juggling his professional commitments with Coventry RUFC with his coaching at the club.
