Blofield tore up the form book as they beat high flying Mulbarton 4-1 to progress to the Semi Finals for the first time since 2012.
Orren Oliver grabbed his second consecutive hat-trick for the beavers but the home side were equally indebted to a Ian Stones penalty save seven minutes into the second half with the score at 2-1.
This was however a fully deserved victory on a difficult surface and the home fans can look forward to a semi final tie against either Harleston, CEYMS or Sheringham.
The Reserves game away at Hingham was postponed but it was good to see the majority of them at this afternoon's game supporting the first team.
