Another pre-season done and we’re ready for the big kick-off, it`s been a summer of change at the club as i’ve brought in Darren Thomas from Cemaes Bay to assist myself, and Daz Gibbs will be on board to when available. Darren`s been brilliant since coming in bringing fresh ideas into training and on match days. He`s fitted in really well and i think he’ll prove to be a great addition.
After being promoted last year, my aim was to keep most the squad and add a fair few to freshen things up and i’ve been really pleased with the signings we’ve made.
We’ve added great depth to the squad and its always nice to see lads have competition in every position. It`s a young and energetic squad that can really compete we feel this term in the Welsh Alliance 1.
Having been in this league a few years back i know what`s expected and there will certainly be no easy games, and if we’re not at our best we’ll lose its as simple as that at this standard.
We’ve got to be at it from the word go on Saturday and really take it to St Asaph.
