On a sunny evening the Juniors travelled to Arriva yet again this time in the Megan Cup.The Juniors started well and in an even first quarter both teams went close but on 25 minutes Scott Hughes scored a wonder strike from 27 yards to put Arriva ahead. Then the Juniors played some nice football and Allaway went close on a couple of occasions but before half time Scott Hughes was on target again as he slipped the defence to net.Half Time 2v0. The second half followed the pattern of the first with both teams having efforts on goal and playing nice football but on 60 minutes Hughes again was on the spot as he was upended by Murphy in the penalty box and he duly converted from the spot to secure his hat trick. The Juniors then attacked well hitting the post twice then Connor Rees for the Juniors powered a header home to close the gap. This spurred the Juniors as they struck the crossbar twice and Gardiner bicycle kicked an effort just over the bar. However Scott Hughes was not finished as he rounded his night with a last minute goal to secure the win for Arriva.Final score 4v1. For the Juniors Rees shone but man of the match was Scott Hughes.
