The Juniors visited Holyhead Hotspur Reserves on a bright afternoon. The Hotspurs started well and gained a disputed penalty decision after a seemingly perfect tackle by Griffiths on 12 minutes which McClymont scored . This was a serious set back which completely deflated Bods game plan to defend and frustrate Holyhead. Bod appeared comfortable up until then. Holyhead extended their lead on 16 minutes as Hamilton followed up after a long shot from Roberts. The Juniors got going and after 16 minutes Iwan Parry headed goalwards but Dan Williams was on hand to save. The Juniors counter attacked throughout the half as the Hotspurs went forward. Half Time 2v0. The Juniors started the second half well, Iwan Parry was put through clear on goal only for the already carded Kyle Murphy to dive full length and deliberately save the through pass using his hands without further caution. Luke Gardiner harried the home defence and Parry lobbed over. However on 52 minutes McClymont scored for Hotspurs to extend the lead following a dangerous two footed lunge to initially win the ball. The Juniors attacked on the counter and Gardiner and Parry created a chance for Parry this time to lob home on 59 minutes. On 75 minutes Roberts for Hotspurs fired wide. Then Parry for Bod was put through again and seemingly well on side only for the play to be stopped. The Juniors used their subs but the Hotspurs continued their passing game and outplayed the tiring and demoralised Juniors who were frustrated. On 77 minutes McClymont scored again to secure his hat trick. On 86 minutes man of the match Deian Parry scored latching onto a mistake by Bod. Which was gifted by an embarressing selfish display of Bod player antics. That ended the scoring and seal the victory.Full Time 5v1. Bod players felt that they were on the wrong end of a few "game changing" decisions made by the officials on the day. They hope for a much improved performances by them in the New Year then Bods results will doubtlessly improve.
