Well the world cup is well and truly up and running (just ask the Irish!).
But does that stop the luncheons – You must be joking!
In fact, it gives us an even bigger reason to come down and support the club and 1st team!
The next league lunch is on Saturday 19th October – which for those of you who are not world cup aficionados is hopefully the same day as England’s quarter final match.
Now when writing this is not set in stone, England still must play Argentina and France – so anything can happen (and before every Welshman, Scot and Irishman comments!) remember the last world Cup!
But as a proud and loyal Englishman I am taken it for granted that we will do the Argies and the Froggies!
If so then the club will be open for breakfast and a nerve calming libation from 7.45 am.
Now here is the fun part –
Why not come down for the day!
Book your seat for the England game keep it for the 2nd quarter final at 11.15 and be all set to join the lunch at 12.00 noon.
If that sounds like a plan, then confirm your attendance by return or call me on 07971 052857.
However, if you think the first option is too dangerous then watch the England game with breakfast at the club, go home get changed and come back for lunch.
Remember that if you went to the 1st league game (70 did) and you now come to the 2nd league lunch then you automatically have a place at the Christmas luncheon – so even more reason to come on down.
So, lets support England, the U15's who are doing the breakfast, the club bar and especially the 1st team and come along on the 19th for a day of rugby!
Everyone welcome – minis, youths, parents, grandparents, friends and definitely players!
Let’s make this a day to remember (or try to remember on Sunday 20th).
RSVP to John Don by return or email – firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on 07971 052857.
See you on the 19th!
