At this stage and until further guidance is received, the RFU recommends that clubs in Tier 4 areas should consider cancelling training or fixtures.
Due to the large number of adults required to run training sessions, the most sensible option in Tier 4 areas is to postpone planned rugby activity until further guidance is available from the government.
Although Organised outdoor rugby activity with approved adaptations for both match play and training is permitted across tiers 1-3 and for (all age grades up to) U18s ONLY in tier 4. At the Stage E Roadmap
However, it is extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, volunteers, parents, carers and facility providers continue to strictly follow both the UK Government's latest guidance on COVID-19 and RFU guidance to ensure we can continue our phased return to play. Clubs should limit the time spent congregating at a venue before and after rugby activity, so please consider having strict meeting times or staggering start times.
At Bognor RFC we have decided the sensible and safest thing to do is to allow NO Rugby activity to take place until our review on or before January 9th .
No training for adults
Under 18's can train but strictly to stage E. ( after 9th January)
