We're delighted to confirm that Jamie, Chelsea, Khya and the club have all been shortlisted for top awards at the upcoming 2025 SWF Awards at Hampden next month.
The Gaffer has been shortlisted for the 2024/25 Championship and League One Manager of The Year after successfully guiding the club to the Barclays SWF League One title in only our second season in the National Leagues and our third year as a club at senior level. Jamie was crowned the SWFL Manager of The Year at the same event in 2023 after the club secured promotion from the SWFL Regional League to SWF League One and we're delighted to see him recognised again for his brilliant achievement last season.
Chelsea and Khya have both been shortlisted for the Barclays SWF League One Player of The Year. Chelsea enjoyed an amazing season as we won the title, not only did she hit double figures in her best goal scoring season of her career but she was also named Bonnyrigg Rose Player of The Year before being recognised by her peers winning the Barclays SWF League One Players Player of The Year.
Khya has been shortlisted after scoring an incredible 41 League goals (44 in all competitions) for Armadale Thistle last season which saw her win the Barclays SWF League One Top Goal Scorer award as well as Armadale's Top Goal Scorer award. Khya's goals were crucial in Armadale taking the title race down to the final game of the season and ultimately she would go on to score in the promotion play off which saw the West Lothian side join us in the Barclays SWF Championship. We're absolutely delighted to see both players achievements recognised.
Finally, we're very proud of the fact that the club has also been shortlisted for Scottish Power Sustainable Club of The Year. Just to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award is testament to the hard work of everyone at the club.
