Booterstown NS senior hockey teams in action against Shellybanks ETNS
The Booterstown NS school hockey teams (mainly 5th & 6th class) played Shellybanks ETNS at Railway Union HC on Park Avenue.
Despite being 1-0 down at half time the BNS girls rallied in the second half and scored twice to win 2-1.
The Booterstown boys started well and went 2-0 up but Shellybanks boys fought back and reduced the arrears with a well taken goal, the second half was end to end but it was Booterstown who got the next goal and ran out 3-1 winners.
Well done to both schools for entertaining matches and there will be further matches after Easter for the local Sandymount and Booterstown schools supported by Railway Union Hockey Club
