We have received the following message for Midlands Hockey - they are looking for volunteers to help out. Our very own Men's Club Captain Dan has volunteered this season for Midlands Hockey alongside his club commitments, and I'm sure he would be happy to give you an insight into what his role has entailed and his experience.

Laurie Alcock Awards:

Laurie Alcock was for many years a tireless volunteer for both Midlands, Staffordshire and England Hockey, carrying out many roles to allow us to enjoy the sport we all love. To mark his achievements some years ago Midlands asked Laurie if we could make awards carrying his name to deserving recipients, which is what we have been doing.

As we have now reached the end of another season, I would ask that should you have someone you know in your club, county or area you think should receive recognition for making a significant contribution to Midlands Hockey as an administrator, official, coach, committee member or any other Midlands role then please provide a citation detailing their involvement to the following email address: areaadmin@midlands.hockey
