Club agrees a new partnership with Strength & Conditioning Gym MSC Performance.

We are announcing today our newest partnership with the Strength & Conditioning Gym MSC Performance.

Mitch McGahan Senior Head Coach explained "I approached Mark earlier this year to discuss the possibility of looking to partner with the club and utilising the fantastic coaches they have at MSC and bring them on board to run our strength and conditioning department. From that first conversation Mark was keen and felt as though there was a brilliant opportunity for both parties to benefit from a joint relationship.

"For the senior squad to be having the MSC staff run all elements of their S&C moving forward will be a massive benefit to them and we look forward to seeing the by product of this throughout the forthcoming season."

In return Mark Coulson who is the owner and founder of MSC (and also a Bournville first team regular commented "MSC are absolutely delighted to be working with one of Birmingham's most exciting sporting clubs. We aim to prepare the players as best as possible for the vigorous demands of the modern game by managing the clubs strength and conditioning department. Bournville's core values as an organisation are very much in line with our own, with a successful first team run with the goal of producing sporting excellence and outstanding results, whilst also developing young players at grass routes level within the local area to bring about positive change through sport and exercise. We look forward to seeing the results we can achieve together"

This is another exciting development as the club readies itself for the forthcoming season in the newly restructured National League Two (West). As Club MD Phil Maynard remarked "this move is designed to give us the best possible chance to thrive. Strength and conditioning is such an important component in the modern game and working with the professional team at MSC will enable us to add value in terms of individual player improvement to our growing coaching structure in the future."
