February is a big month for Bracknell Forest. Possibly our biggest of the season so far. A possible 4 important games are fast approaching.

Camberley Athletic (AFA Cup) Home - 19/02
*AFA Quarter Final/League Game* Away - 26/02

We know that 6 points from these 2 league games are possible. We’ve already beaten 3M this season so we know it’ll be a tougher game as they will want to get points from us.

Finchampstead are a fantastic team. They beat us twice last season with the first game being the most competitive & they narrowly won 2-1. That season they also beat us 6-1 & went onto win both the League & Cup so we know we face a tough opponent against them. We are much better than we were last season so I think it’ll be a completely different game this time round.

For me, the most important game of the season so far comes on February 19th. Last 16 of the Eric Holbrook Cup. Last season we were knocked out at this stage so I am determined to progress to the next round where we face favourites AFC Farnham. We know this is a game where we need to be at our best to get to the ¼ Final. We want to go as far as possible. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have my sights set on winning.

The outcome of this game will determine who we face the following week. Should we win, we go into the quarter final -if we lose we will play another league game. So our fate is in our own hands.

I know my team has what it takes to win these games & keep this run going. Billy & Paul have done a great job since I stepped down as manager & that is shown by the results, but more importantly the morale of the team. Everyone wants to play & people are enjoying their time on the pitch & that for me is the most important part of running a side that wants to win.

I am confident February will be a very good month for us.
