Worried about missing hockey over the summer break? Not to worry – Wakefield Hockey Club Summer League is back this June and July! The perfect opportunity to socialise with your team in a semi-competitive mini-league, keep up your fitness and hone your skills on the pitch before returning to pre-season training.

• Men’s League – every Thursday, starting Thursday 15th June

Format
Games will be 7-a-side, max 10 per squad, 25 mins each way. Each team must provide its own umpire (they don’t have to be qualified but knowing the rules helps!).

Games will be played at 7pm, 8pm & 9pm each evening. All matches will be played on the blue pitch. The plan is to run for 6¬–7 weeks, with final games being played late July, but will depend on the number of teams entering.
