The 1st team open their Yorkshire League Division programme with a home fixture against newly promoted Roundhegians on 4th September. The following week the 1st team travel to Old Rishworthians and the 2nd team make their seasonal bow in the YRFU Championship (North) Merit League at home to Old Rishworthians 2nd team.

Unfortunately there are only 8 teams in the YRFU Championship (North) Merit League meaning there are plenty of gaps in the 2nd team fixture list. A few of these have been filled with friendly games and one or two others may be added in due course.

The YRFU have, in their wisdom, realigned their cup competitions for this season. This means that we are taking part in the Silver Trophy and incidentally there are only 5 clubs in the Yorkshire Cup! We have been drawn away to Old Grovians in the first round, scheduled for 9th October. However, we understand that they have given us a walk-over (citing insufficient strength of squad) which, if confirmed, would mean that we would play the winners of Thornensians and Wath Upon Dearne in the second round on 6th November.
