Welcome to Brailsford and Ednaston Cricket Club, a local family club, steeped in tradition (est.1896) and dedicated to developing grass routes cricket for players of all ages.

With 3 Senior Teams and 5 Junior Teams we appeal to every level of cricketer from a junior beginner to a seasoned professional. Our club is dedicated to competitive and enjoyable sport, giving all players the opportunity to develop their enjoyment in cricket, their social interaction and long term friendships.

We are a progressive, inclusive, welcoming club with good facilities to the west of Derby.

We have a thriving Junior community, with the emphasis on participation and fun.

We have two picturesque traditional village grounds at Pools Head Brailsford and the Osmaston Polo Ground at Osmaston. Our 3 senior teams compete in the Derbyshire County League, the 1st team playing in Division 3, 2nd team in Division 7 South and the 3rd team in Division 9 South.

The club has recently been re-accredited with the ECB ClubMark and have a thriving Junior Section for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 17 with teams playing in the Derby & District Junior Cricket League. We have good playing and recreational facilities at the ground, which include a fully licensed bar. We organise regular social events throughout the year, to raise additional funds for the development of the club.

Over the past few seasons our results have results been steadily improving. We've had some good youth team players progressing through to the 2nds and then into the 1stXI which has helped to strengthen our squads.
