Great start to the season for our Under 8's as we entered the London festival of tag rugby.
We were drawn with five other teams in the mornings round robin group-Dartfordians,Old Albanians,Andover,Chipping Norton and finally Hemel Hempstead.All teams we had not played before,but despite the early start we remained unbeaten, winning three games and drawing two.This enabled us to qualify for the prize we really wanted which was to play an exhibition match on the Twickenham pitch during half-time of the London-Irish/Harlequins game!!
All 14 boys that were taken had game time on the halowed turf and it was great to play in front of that many people they all had an unforgettable day!!
It was a tired bunch of boys on the coach home but they and all the parents/coaches had a fantastic day.We now look forward to a month of training before our competitive season starts for real-BRING IT ON!!
