A solid performance sees us through to round 2

Basic errors could have cost us today but a solid defensive set ground out the win. Lots to work on in training, but an all round squad performance sees us into the draw for R2.

Too many penalties from simple skill errors and a lack of overall cohesion meant we made hard work for ourselves. A couple of good individual performances in the backs and high work rate from a number of forwards meant we were able to keep momentum and ensure the scoreboard was always in our favour.
