Brandywine RFC opened the game on a high note, minimizing mistakes and playing tough defense for the first 20 minutes of the match. Although Brandywine found themselves within scoring distance several times, they just couldn't punch it in. Philly-Whitemarsh RFC went on to build a 24-0 lead at the half, taking advantage of some big plays and mistakes by Brandywine. Despite their continued fight, the second half was tough for Brandywine and Philly-Whitemarsh went on to win the match 67-0. Brandywine lost a tough match but it was evident that they are headed in the right direction as a club. The team showed improvement from seasons past and has a lot of potential with a host of new young players to build with.
