Bream took an early lead this weekend, away to U.B.H. after a successful penalty conversion from Sam Thomas. Before long though that lead was lost when UBH scored their first try, (nc). To be fair the first half was evenly contested, with both sides making ground, and just before half time Jake Scott scored for Bream, (nc), giving them a slight lead into half time.
The away side got off to a great start second half with an early try from Dan Gamlin, (nc). Again both teams were pretty even in the early stages of this half, but UBH then scored two converted tries in quick succession, their fitness proving the greater as Bream struggled to catch them as they spread the ball wide. Bream lost outside centre Hugh Gibbs with a knock to the head and from then gaps started to appear and UBH ran in three more tries, 1 converted.
Final score U.B.H. 36 - Bream 13
