Thurrock festival

On the 1/3/15 Brentwood u9s entered a team into the Thurrock festival on fine form. After a great display from some of the squad the night before at Hertford it was time for the rest of our team to show what they can do.

Tony's lads wasted no time kicking off with a 5-1 win against Blackheath. Then came a great display against Chelmsford winning 5-0.
Hertford came next and a tough 3-3 draw after which was a long wait which to be honest spoilt our momentum. Two tight games against Eaton Manor 4-2 loss and a 3-1 loss against Luton was still enough to put us into 3rd place. All ready to play for the 3rd place trophy and our apponents had already left. With out a team to play and a missing trophy the u9s finished knowing they had played really well.

Massive effort from the u9s, apart from a few silly mistakes and keeping the ball to long were the only tiny faults.
We will be working on them in training.
