Welcome to week 14. 35 degrees Celsius in Vassiliki but apparently it was raining cats and dogs in Brewood and surrounding areas. No play possible for any of the Saturday teams so it was left to the Sunday XI to get the points for you. Unfortunately for Nick R (snr), Nick R (jnr), John R, Jane, Cam and Jon G 2 this meant no points being scored!

On the pitch Harri Taylor raced to his third Century of the season (113 to be exact), ably supported by Jimmy Banks (33) and Tom Whitcut (3 wickets).

John Bird was again top scorer for the week with 178 points, thereby closing the gap at the top of the table. Paul Walton (168), Baz (lost somewhere in Europe 133), Sandra (133) and Thomo (106) were the next best.

Paul Walton and John Bird have opened up a bit of a gap from the chasers at the top of the league but there are still lots of games to go.
