The one where it got tricky

Evening all,

Things got a bit tricky this week when Bruce and Luke were both cloned. They join three other players who appear twice on the play cricket statistics for 2014. There must be a way of combining their scores......... but I can't do it! Over to you Gubbs!

Things are complicated even more by the fact that I can' get the Himley floodlit T20 scores to go onto Play Cricket.

If you want to add up your own scores (I have done it on my spreadsheet and I think it is correct) then you will need to add the following scores from the 4 matches

Jamie Lunn 6 wickets 1 catch
Andy Day 16 runs 2 wickets 2 catches
Rich Hewitt 16 runs 2 catches
Bruce Thomason 53 runs 1 catch
Cameron Fox 180 runs 4 catches
Luke Bird 2 runs 1 catch
Harri Taylor 1 run 1 stumping

Congratulations to the team for reaching the final and to Cam for his prolific run scoring over the week.

Back to league cricket and in the 1st team Ally Carey took 3 wickets on debut and Harri Taylor top scored with 30 no. The 2nds were second best to Tamworth with only Glenda scoring any runs of note (33) . Ben Walton (3 wickets) and MBW (4 wickets) gave the 3's a sniff of victory but the batsmen struggled in difficult conditions.

Last week it was Elliot Griffiths who was the weeks top scorer and this week his brother James was in 2nd place with 268 points. Excellent form in the T20 gave the top spot to Foxy with 311. Wayne Hollinshead (243) and Mary Banks (221) were the only others to break 200 points. In a shock reversal of fortunes league leader John Bird was the lowest scorer of the week with only 55 points.

This means that Paul Walton has taken over once again at the head of the table. At the bottom the Redrups continue to battle it out.

The full league table is shown below

Cheers
